When you quickly scroll through your Instagram feed is the app slowing down on ads? Reddit user psylent_w3ird0 seems to think so in their recent post. Read it here. When I tried with the blog Instagram account it seemed to recreate the claim.
I uploaded the screen recording below. I simply scrolled bottom to top in one swipe.
What do you think? Seems that sponsored content ended up mid-screen each time rather then an account post. Instagram’s business model is based on selling ad space, as most websites are. (I even have them here for revenue.)
Right or wrong seems to be an odd feature for kinetic energy to slow down across ads. What do you think? Does it bother you ads seems more relevant than other posts? Do you have the same experience when you try?
