Google Duplex coming to iOS

Google Assistant for iOS will soon be getting a new feature only found on the Pixel line of phones.

Google in a blog post today stated they will be rolling out the automated service in the coming weeks to Android and iOS devices. Duplex was announced at Google I/O in 2018 as a way to quickly make reservations on your behalf with an automated phone call. It is currently offered in 43 states at this time for all Pixel devices.

During the call it will tell the small business about what you would like to reserve with respect to the time open in your calendar. It naturally will add filler ah and umm to the conversation. Below is a video on how the technology works.
