Apple Confirms ECG Will Come in watchOS 5.1.3 Today

Yesterday Apple Releases a fury of updates from devices like the HomePod to the Mac. Absent from them though was the Apple Watch.

Today Apple will release watchOS 5.1.2. This update will activate the ECG (electrocardiogram) built into the Digital Crown of the Series 4. This awaited feature will allow the wearer to get a check up on their heart health to detect irregularities. It takes 30 seconds to get a reading back. After the reading it will be stored in the Health App for sharing with a doctor later.

Do no fear though the Series 2 and 3 will also get Irregular Rhythm Notifications that will check five times over sixty-five minutes.

Connect to power when it comes out, be patient and get to update.
