Famed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared with Bloomberg information regarding the next generation of Apple iPhones.
The rumored Apple Pencil support would not be included this year as a result of “not a good user experience.” The smaller screen would hinder the ability to use the Pencil fully with on screen interface.
The screen sizes for this year are rumored at 5.8″, 6.1″, and 6.5″. The 6.1 is expected to be delayed due to production issues. The other two options are going to be released in September. Kuo states the break down for release will be the following: September 12th unveil day, September 14th for pre-orders and then September 21st for launch.
The chart at the top of the post shows a more detailed break down of the new iPhone internals. Noted is the storage option goes into the 512GB range and the 4GB of RAM for the larger two models. Screens will be OLED on the top and bottom screen sizes with LCD squeezing in the middle size.
