SanDisk releases 1TB microSD Cards in time for your S10

Once was a time hard to imagine being able to carry 1 Terabyte in your pocket. After Samsung’s Galaxy S10 announcement last week SanDisk and Micron have announced a 1TB card to double that. Now 2TB can of data fit right in your pocket.

The differences between the two cards is the transfer speed. The SanDisk claims 160MB/s read while the Micron is at a steady 100MB/s. Though Micron makes up for it with a faster write speed at 95MB/s a whole 5MB/s over SanDisk.

Get ready to open your wallet with the SanDisk card costing a premium $449.99. ThT releases this April. Micron at this time has yet to announce a price or release date.
