Before bedtime my wife and the little were writing letters to the cousins. Drawing some pictures to sent with them in the mail.

Suddenly little became super upset over a card my wife used. Working to defuse the situation I took her stairs brushed her teeth then laid down with her. She still was very upset about the picture after a bit - real tears and all. Got her settled finally I asked what was it about the picture was so important. She simply said, “It reminds me of you.”

Fast forward a little bit. Wife brings the front of the card cut off to her with just the photo on it.
