Twitter Hiatus

It is to the point I have put my Twitter account on hiatus. Should I delete it? Yes, probably. Though part of me finds it hard to leave something of 15 years after turning into a dumpster fire in two months. Part of my holds hope for a brighter future. Until that point I think I will sit it out indefinitely. I have turned off micro.blog from sharing content also.Setting up 2FA with Mastodon with Apple’s built in Verification Code was easy and convenient.
I caved.
Should I just jump on it now or wait?
Really looking forward to doing the Always on Display with no wallpaper. 🤔
Has anyone ever had their Instagram account just blown up by fake/spam account follows? Was about 400 followers yesterday overnight it grew to 900 from them.

I am curious if the general Twitter population would have a better experience if they simply changed apps.
Apps like TweetBot, Spring and Aviary remove the timeline from the algorithm and forcing content suggestion.
Yes, Twitter closing API would remove this option all together. Though at least enjoy it why we can.

I signed up then closed my account. Just seemed thrown together with app only interface. Definitely prefer how Mastodon is setup with independent instances.
