My take: Avoid Threads. Not for any nefarious truly, you are already on Facebook/Instagram.
Simply, just because the data you create is better on a Mastodon instance you can migrate and save if you need to. It is time to maintain your own presence online with a personal domain. Make it your own. RSS, Fediverse and Mastodon can help you get to who needs to see it.

If you use #Eve HomeKit door sensors, I would advise to avoid updating to 2.1.3. After update none of them are responsive. It’s frustrating.
