My take: Avoid Threads. Not for any nefarious truly, you are already on Facebook/Instagram.
Simply, just because the data you create is better on a Mastodon instance you can migrate and save if you need to. It is time to maintain your own presence online with a personal domain. Make it your own. RSS, Fediverse and Mastodon can help you get to who needs to see it.

If you use #Eve HomeKit door sensors, I would advise to avoid updating to 2.1.3. After update none of them are responsive. It’s frustrating.

#Apollo has been amazing since I began using it years ago. After 6/30 (or before) I will close out my 10 year #Reddit account. Just like I did my 15 year #Twitter account. This long thread I linked above will give enough context as to why. Reddit does not value their true core of what made Reddit Reddit. Users. For years they have profited off our submitted content to turn around and treat users this way.
Also what chaps me is that Reddit did not even make their own app! They bought a third party app (Blue Alien) much like Twitter did (Tweetie). They owe their success to these developers more than anything. Entire situation is dare I say bullshit.
One thought I had one the #VisionPro was that it is $3,499 plus tax. Meaning youll have to add on upwards of $335 (highest state tax I found LA with 9.55%) to that price.
Then again if you’re spending that on a VR set. Probably won’t bother you. Time to find a friend in Oregon or Montana. #WWDC #Apple
